2003Summer Reported on 6/1 in Renville, Rock, Lake of the Woods, and Big Stone; late migrant 6/3 St. Louis (Duluth) PHS. All fall reports: 7/20 and 7/24 Marshall PHS, KJB, 7/23 Becker BWF.
2003Fall Scarce statewide for the second consecutive fall. Only north reports were singles at Duluth on five dates 9/10–10/5 St. Louis m.obs. All south reports were of single birds 8/1–2 Lac qui Parle KTP, PCC, 8/21 Yellow Medicine BRL, 10/9 Brown JEB.
2004Spring Scarce (again) along the North Shore of Lake Superior. Seen in 12 south and 8 north counties. Early south 5/13 Brown BTS and Stearns RPR, 5/14 Dakota BRL. 2005Fall Scarce statewide for the fourth consecutive fall; weekly shorebird surveys in West-central region found none (PCC, PHS). All north reports: 8/26–27 St. Louis RSB et al., 9/16 Beltrami BJU, 9/26 St. Louis PHS. All south reports: 8/22 Lac qui Parle BJU, 8/23 Lincoln BJU, 8/24 Olmsted JWH.
2006Spring Scarce (again) along the North Shore of Lake Superior. Found in 11 south counties beginning 5/1 Dakota (L. Byllesby) †DWK, 5/7–8 Dakota m.ob.
